Doug Skor, the former Vice President of Chicago Gaming Company, has left to join Stern Pinball as their new Director of Export Sales.

Before becoming Vice President at Chicago Gaming Company (CGC), Doug was Vice President of Business Development, in which role he spearheaded the company’s drive into remaking classic Williams/Bally pinball machines starting with Medieval Madness and continuing with Attack from Mars. The third title – widely rumoured to be Monster Bash – appears to have run into difficulties and missed the scheduled unveiling at the Texas Pinball Festival in March 2018. At the time of Doug’s departure there had still been no official announcement.
Doug’s new role at Stern Pinball is to look after the day-to-day export business, taking over some of the duties previously handled by company CEO Gary Stern.
Gary is keen to point out that this doesn’t represent his standing down or retirement, merely that the export business has grown beyond his ability to manage it in addition to his CEO duties. “I will still be involved with the export markets and always available for our export customers, and for that matter all of our customers“, he said.
Here’s how Stern Pinball announced Doug’s appointment.
