Last week, Stern Pinball made a bit of a surprise announcement with a teaser video for The Beatles Beatlemania pinball. Today, we have a deeper idea of the game features thanks to a press release I got my hands on. In case you missed the teaser trailer, here it is:
For new info, eight Beatles classics will rock ‘n roll as you play, with those titles shown in the image here (I just pulled together the cabinet and playfield image I received of the Diamond model; still waiting on images for the Gold and Platinum; these reflect what I saw This Week In Pinball sharing online). One thing to note is that I was contacted by an operator/distributor who stated that distributors were given certain ordering rules for the Diamond models; it also sounds like they set the price, but expect the Diamond models to be the most expensive pinball machines ever produced. He quoted me “around $25,000,” with Gold Models (the equivalent of the Pro) in the neighborhood of $7500-$8000. Please note, these numbers will different depending on your distributor, but gives you a ballpark idea. Also hearing that these are intended to ship “Q1 2019,” but that could be fluid.
