With the game expected to appear in a couple of days at the Texas Pinball Festival and three teaser videos already released, American Pinball have been working on a new promotional video for their new Galactic Tank Force game.
It is now confirmed that there will be four versions of the game available: Classic, Deluxe, Limited and Signature with only the latter two including the tank-like cabinet sides and backbox.
The names of the characters played by the four actors previously announced are also now known. As expected, there are plenty of nods to the Star Wars franchise.
The video includes cameos by several of the American Pinball staff, including Steven Bowden, Barry Engler, Sofia Bil Ryan and Jack Haeger, while game designer Dennis Nordman appears in the game as the voice of the Nord-Man 3000 robot.
Empress Annoya appears to the the main antagonist in the storyline, critiquing your gameplay and celebrating your failures.
Naturally, the UFOs in the game try to beam up cows, in a subtle nod to Williams’ use of cows in their games.
We also get some shots of the playfield and can see many of the features.
There are two flipper button on the left side of the cabinet. The second one appears to operate a ball diverter at the top of the ramp.

The full game is expected to be presented to the public at the Texas Pinball Festival in March during American Pinball’s seminar at 5pm on Friday 24th.
In addition to the video, we can also bring you more publicity material from American Pinball, including the game flyer. As with just about every picture on Pinball News, click on the flyer image to get a larger version.
Details of the pricing of each of the four models is yet to be announced, but we can expect the top-of-the-range Signature Edition to be reassuringly expensive with a maximum of only 200 units built.
Pinball News will, of course, bring you more details of Galactic Tank Force right here, and we will be in Frisco to cover the public presentation at the Texas Pinball Festival too.
