The best way to apply your new decals is by using the dry method (no water involved). Make sure your cabinet is prepared nicely first, which would involve removal of the old decals, and ensuring any dents have been filled and the surface is sanded smooth. You can then lay down your decals with the backing paper still on. Ensure your alignment is good and then remove about 1-2 inches of backing paper from 1 side of the decal you are applying. Stick this down firmly and then working from the under side, slowly remove the rest of the backing paper, smoothing out as you go. Take it slow and get a friend to help. Once the decal is in place you will need to warm them by going over with a hot air gun or hair dryer. This will remove imperfections and set the adhesive permanently. Use of a soft cloth, like a microbe towel, is recommended to wipe over the surface as you heat the decals.

Yes, but we find this is completely unnecessary and recommend applying them dry with the assistance of a hot air gun for the best quality finish.

For the best finish using our decal product, we recommend using nothing more than a soft cloth, like a microfiber towel, and a hot air gun or hair dryer with high heat setting. An extra pair of hands from a helper is always good too! Using any other tools may damage your decals and void the warranty with us.

It is a vinyl material which is an industrial high-grade product manufactured by Orafol. It is designed for external applications and primarily used on vehicle wraps – trucks, boats, and aircraft. For these applications the material must be extremely tough, and is therefore overkill for a wooden cabinet being kept indoors. The material is guaranteed for 7 years.

We try to keep this as small as possible to ensure you get good alignment. Most of our decals provide 1cm – 2cm of extra space. Big overlaps and bleed are unnecessary and give you extra work when it comes to trimming. A smaller fitting is actually easier to fit.

No. This is a wonderful property of our decal material and major reason why we chose it. By applying heat from a hot air gun or hair dryer, you can completely eliminate any creases or wrinkles. This must be done on the cabinet however. Do not attempt to remove creases while the material is still attached to the backing paper. You will be amazed at how well this works.

Unfortunately, yes. Our decal material has some amazing properties but rips or holes cannot be repaired. If your decals arrived damaged from being mishandled by the shipping company, you must inform us asap within 7 days. Do not attempt to use the decals.

Yes. All orders are shipped fully insured and tracked. When your order is marked as “complete” an email will be sent to your inbox with the details of the order, the tracking number and link.

This depends on your location and the product you ordered. Items made to order will need a few days of processing (manufacturing). For shipping times, smaller items are usually delivered to most locations around the world within 7-10 days. Larger items, such as cabinet decals, are heavy and take longer. Most countries will receive these anywhere between 10-21 days. Currently, we find Australia takes the longest with an average delivery time of 18 days.

It means we have received your order and your payment. We will now prepare the item(s) for shipping and dispatch. If you ordered a product which is made to order, such as cabinet decals and translites, these will need a few days so you order status will remain as “processing” between 3-7 days before being dispatched and “completed”.

Free shipping is available on orders over £400 GBP. You will qualify for this with 3 sets of cabinet decals. Other items will need larger amounts to qualify. The free shipping discount is automatically applied when the total of your basket exceeds this amount.
