This month’s PINcast was held back for a few days to bring you the very latest news and an exclusive interview.  So, join Jonathan from Pinball Magazine and Martin from Pinball News as they bring you all the excitement from the pinball industry throughout May and the first few days of June in the latest Pinball Industry News PINcast.

It’s taken ten years to come to fruition, but finally Jersey Jack Pinball were able to release their Harry Potter game.  The reaction has been hugely positive, but there are still many unknowns about just what’s in the game and the story of its creation.

So, Jonathan and Martin interview Jersey Jack Pinball’s founder, and the man who secured the licence widely thought to be unobtainable, Jack Guarnieri.  Jack explains the steps he had to take to get all the assets for all the movies, what the game means to Jersey Jack Pinball, the reason for the delayed reveal, what’s in the game, how it is going to be built, why they chose to offer three different models, and much more about this new Harry Potter game, including where you can play it.

One game due to launch soon is Predator from Pinball Brothers.  A slow drip of information from the company means we already know a few details, but this month’s PINcast includes an update directly from the company’s CEO about when we might expect more information.

Last weekend saw the European Pinball Championship in Austria.  Alongside complete line-ups of games from Spooky Pinball, American Pinball, Jersey Jack Pinball, Chicago Gaming, Dutch Pinball and all three models of Stern’s King Kong, Barrels of Fun Pinball had their new Dune game there alongside their Labyrinth.

Barrels of Fun’s David Van Es was attending the show, so Martin took the opportunity to sit down at the dining table with David for the latest edition of What’s Cooking With…  Find out what they enjoy eating at the Barrels of Fun factory when celebrating birthdays.

The imposition or threat of tariffs still looms large over the industry, threatening delays in shipping product into the US, with the potential for retaliatory tariffs pushing up prices for non-US buyers too.  Two companies have already responded, so find out what they had to say.

There’s an update from Pinball Adventures about their Elements game, news on some great deals on new-in-box machines, and chances to win prizes ranging from merchandise and anti-reflective glass to an entire machine.
